Master Garcia

has spent the last 28 years of his life studying the Martial Arts. He's been teaching men, women and children of all ages for the past 20 years. He's a 5th Degree Black Belt, certified by Greg Silva - 7th Degree Black Belt and President of Black Belt Schools of America. Mr. Garcia spent most of his early years competing in the sport karate tournament circuit.

Some of his accomplishments include:

• Being overall ranked among the top ten sport karate fighters in the USA.
• Becoming the number one middleweight sport karate fighter in the country.
• Becoming a member of the World Champion John Paul Mitchell National Karate Team.
• International Kick Boxing silver medalist

After enjoying many years competing, Mr. Garcia opened his first school in 1990. The school became a huge success and quickly grew to one of the largest Martial Arts schools in RI. By the year 1993, the school had an active enrollment of 370 students.

Late 1993, Master Garcia was offered an opportunity to work at the corporate headquarters of Black Belt Schools of America - a nationwide quality control agency representing approximately 300 schools and 20,000 students. During the next seven years, Master Garcia spent his time helping school owners around the country improve their Martial Arts programs and services. Master Garcia was instrumental in developing break-through training programs for school owners that helped them to improve the quality of teaching methods for their students.

Master Garcia also developed one of the first Martial Arts Instructor Colleges for school owners across the country. This college set a standard for instructors nationwide, giving them the opportunity to become certified by Black Belt Schools of America. At the college, instructors learned how to be better communicators, motivators, to become more in tune with the needs of different age groups and how to teach "life skills" to students of any age.

Master Garcia has dedicated his life to the improvement of Martial Arts programs across the country. As a keynote speaker for Black Belt Schools of America, he's traveled across the country teaching, training and encouraging school owners to be more successful in their personal and business lives. Master Garcia is an accomplished author, who has written numerous manuals and newsletters that have been distributed among the Martial Arts community nationwide. He has recorded many audio and video presentations that have helped elevate the quality of Martial Arts taught throughout the country.
